Sariaya Challenge

Run, race and enjoy the huff-puffing route and indulge yourself with Sariaya’s local delicacies – Pinagong Sariaya, Pancit Chami, Halo-Halo of Lunti or just sit in a cozy tea house and feel the world away from the metro.

It is a road and trail event, 80% road and 20% trail. It’s also Sariaya Runners’ first major event and a fund raising project dedicated to the less privilege young students of Sariaya living in the coastal area.  It has a max elevation is 756m and has a 711m elevation gain. The race course will traverse mostly the inner upland villages situated at the foothills of Mt. Banahaw, The race will start and finish  at the town proper in Poblacion 2.

The race course consist of different terrains, cement road, asphalt, muddy and rocky road. Runners will see the hidden beauty of Sariaya and highest peak will showcase the breath taking view of the coastal area, Tayabas Bay and the neighboring town – Pagbilao, Lucena and Candelaria.
