Double Terrain Challenge

Be Trail Ready and get ready to level up on the challenges.  Double Terrain Challenge is both a scenic-viewing party of Tanay’s mountains and its natural attractions and a test of will and perseverance.  Tanay is one of our favorite playground and that’s because of the views at its higher peaks, its natural attractions and its rich resource for run-able trail surfaces.  You get to explore Tanay by foot via the Double Terrain Challenge on August 6, 2017.

It has a newbie-friendly 10-kilometer distance and a longer scenic exploration for the 25-kilometer distance.  The race starts in Barangay Cuyambay and leads you to different trail surfaces and of course, unlimited amount of climbs.  Double Terrain is gonna be a challenge no doubt. It’s gonna make you tougher and much more appreciative on Tanay’s scenic masterpieces in the Sierra Madre Mountain Range.

The course consists of your usual favorite uphills and downhills, from easy to extreme. The runners will be rewarded by great views of the Pililla Windmill, the Calinawan Cave, a glimpse of Daranak Falls and Laguna Lake, and of course the picturesque view of Mt. Sembrano. Runners will also experience running the boulder side of (the washdown) Tungtong Falls in Mt. Paliparan area. Once you reach the viewpoint, you’ll get to see a basin-like portion of clear water.
