RUN 2 ME is not your ordinary Trail event but a celebration of Haring Maharot’s Birthday and his love of Running. The event gathered the both the veterans and the new faces of runners in the Trail Community. The combination of both road and trail surface heading to Wawa and Casile Trails makes the event more fun & memorable.

The famous mountain of Wawa Dam
RUN 2 ME is a post race Birthday celebration of Master Lao Ogerio whose popularly known as “Haring Maharot”. He is among the famous runners and considered “elite” in the field of Ultra Trail and road run. This status he achieved by finishing (often Champion) some of hardest local foot race like PAU: Manila-to-Baguio 250k, Runn’ Active: Manila-to-Bicol 342k ultra Race, BDM 102 and BDM 160, etc. The event was great bonding that gather some of his personal friends and friend met during some of his races.
The Route
The race is an out-and-back trail route which started from Virginia and Boy Lodge & Resort in Brgy. San Rafael to Wawa Dam heading to Casile Trails. An approximately 7km distance of concrete route before turning the trail ascent of Sitio Wawa to Big Acacia Tree to Casile. Casile Trails featuring a wide view of Montalban’s mountain, sea of clouds and little river-crossing due to ample rain night before the event.
